The club introduced its first Road Run in 1993. The event proved highly popular and has since become a fixture each August, offering a scenic route of around eighty miles through Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, with static displays at Peterborough and in Wisbech.

The 2025 Wisbech & District Historic Vehicle Club Road Run marked our 36th year as a thriving local organisation and our 30th Road Run.

Once again, we had an excellent field of entrants, with something in the classic and vintage world for everyone’s taste. The vehicles on display were a credit to their owners—some in long-term ownership and regular use, while others had been freshly restored or recommissioned—ensuring there was always something new to see and enjoy.

We are grateful to the local authorities for allowing the use of Somers Road Car Park as the assembly point for the run and also as its return point in the afternoon. We also thank Bauer Media at Lynchwood Park for allowing us to use their car park as our mid-run stopover point.
